Although this watch was delivered to me with the dial colored green instead of black as ordered by myself, nevertheless, I liked it. It appears that this watch will become my favorite one at least for the visible future. It is accurate, solidly built and robust. The black platen steel case and black canvas band are both OK. Exactly as in the specs. As for the different color of dial, the muted green color gives this watch more military look that the black one would probably have given. So, no regrets in these terms as well. It was delivered on time and condition was new as agreed. I LIKE this watch! With my diminishing eyesight, the time is very easy to see. (They should’a called this one a ‘Senior Citizen’). But the date needs a little help like a magnifier in the crystal. But I’ll live. The look is great…I wanted a face that looked like a retro altimeter, and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s almost the same as the Bell&Ross BR series, (have you seen THAT price?). The eco-drive feature beats the B&R hands down. I had another Citizen with the eco-drive for 18 yrs.+/- and never had a problem with it. I have the green face on this one and like it better than the black. Just a little more panache. But this watch is LARGE and the crystal is flat. So you will get ‘hot flashes’ in your eyes at times. The winder irritates the back of my wrist periodically. But so did my other Citizen. It was a titanium and 3X the cost of this one. Happy camper! But look around the web.
