The black tone to the metal was rubbing off. I liked the features so much on the watch that I tolerated this… after all, it was just the inside of the band. Now, as I look at it sitting on my desk, the buttons are all this worn, rusty color… the stainless steel ‘coating’ is gone. The band is heavily worn… now matching the inside and as of about a month ago the movements have ceased, done, no more. The digital still works fine, so to buy myself some time as I look for a solid watch for a reasonable price, I’ve just moved the hands to 9 & 3 so that I can read the digital. I love the blue back light (nice feature).
